Summer Tumblr Craft Open Day

We had a great day at the 2014 Summer Tumblr Craft Open Day, held in the beautifully restored St Mary Church in the shadow of Lambeth Palace on 27th July.
The day started a bit fraught, with mum getting lost, but thankfully she arrived in time for us to haul our goodies from the car and set up.

Once set up we had time to wander around and meet the other stall holders, mum got to taste a real piece of honeycomb from Colina d'Ouro and in her words, it was delicious.

We were placed next to Crowns of Depford selling a  wonderful array of  colourful head gear and Alice of Alice V G Turner selling beautifully embossed paper, as both stallholders were volunteers in the church cafe, they were unable to man their stall, so we kept an eye on it, by way of thanks we were rewards with coffee and brownies, unfortunately mum has a gluten free diet so more for me, oh she had the coffee.

My only regret is I did not get to wander around the Garden Museum, which I heard was really beautiful. However we were very pleased with the reception and feedback received on the day about our product, so we have decided to sign up for the winter fair on 30th November.
